<p>A Question I get asked a lot is: What does your Slow Carb Menu look like?</p>
<p>When I say Menu Im talking about what are the meals I eat on a daily basis. I think in general as people, we love to have a look inside someones life as to what they are doing and how it can help others going forward.</p>
<p>So I wanted to put together my Slow Carb Diet Menu to give you some thoughts as to what you can eat. This is based a bit on the Tim Ferris &#8211; 4 Hour Body concept but I am also a bit more liberal with stuff like Bacon and am not as regimented with dairy food. (Organic Sour Cream &amp; Organic Cheese).</p>

<p><strong>Slow Carb Breakfast</strong></p>
<p>For Breakfast I like to keep this the simplest meal of the day. The less thought the better. I usually wake up and drink a good sized bottle of iced water. This shocks the metabolism in to starting to move, quench&#8217;s thirst and wakes you up.</p>
<p>I then follow it up by a 80 &#8211; 90% Protein meal. This is the meal that is most important when it comes to protein. I usually end up having 2 Eggs, Bacon with some Pepper &amp; Fresh Chives mixed in the eggs. I am trying to bring myself to eating spinach at 9am but it can be a struggle.</p>
<p><strong>Slow Carb Lunch</strong></p>
<p>For lunch I like to mix it up and really can depend on where I am or what I am feeling like. It usually steps around a quick Salad, the slow cooker or eating out. But here are a few of the regulars on my menu:</p>
<p>Refried Beans, Steak &amp; VegetablesSalad with Moroccan ChickenTurkish Kebab with Large Salad and a little hummusSpiced Mince &amp; Beans wrapped in Lettuce LeavesSlow Cooker Beef Brisket, Bacon &amp; Chicken or Spicy Beef (as I call it)</p>
<p><strong>Slow Carb Dinner</strong></p>
<p>Although not a lot different from the above meals I am a true fan of Mexican food and BBQ. One huge advantage on this diet is BBQ &amp; Mexican are the 2 easiest foods to eat. So Steak &amp; Beans is on the menu a bit. Here are some of my top Slow Carb Dinner Choices.</p>
<p>BBQ Steak (Char Grilled) with a Garden Egg SaladBlack Beans, Diced Steak and Cayenne Pepper with some Grilled Peppers and ZucchiniStir fry with Beef/Chicken, broccoli &amp; Zucchini stripsIf I&#8217;m out anything that fits under the rules at a Mexican restaurant.I even had McDonalds the other day by taking off the buns of some burgers lol. Not ideal, but you have to work with what you can find sometimes.</p>
<p><strong>Slow Carb Snacks Snacks</strong></p>
<p>Here are just snacks I have when I get hungry. I do need to note that on this diet you do not really get peckish as such. If I am getting hungry I will usually add a 4 smaller Lunch/Dinner meal.</p>
<p>Almonds &amp; Brazil Nuts (but not too many) Jerky style organic beef Celery sticks Just Drinking lots and lots of lemon water</p>

<p>It can be quite difficult to know for sure if you do have too much <a title="Is Cardio Keeping You Fat?" href="http://howtonaturallyloseweight.net/is-cardio-keeping-you-fat">Stomach Fat</a>. You do not want to go rushing off getting diet plans or fasting if you don&#8217;t need to. So when is it too much? How can you know for sure and is there some kind of standard measurement?</p>
<p>One of the less scientific approaches is to notice whether or not you can still fit the clothes in your wardrobe AND if you have found it necessary to buy bigger sizes over the past couple of years. You need to answer both these questions together to get the right information about your weight. It may be all your clothes in the wardrobe are bigger sizes you bought some time ago and that you still fit them. But if you had to get bigger sizes previously then there is your answer.</p>
<p>The more scientific answer to this question is to use what is known as the BMI, which is short for your Body Mass Index. Specialist nutritional people use this as a good guide to what range a healthy weight would be for you. This is something you can easily calculate for yourself. First you will need to know what your current weight is in Kilos (approximately 2.2 pounds/Kilo) and what your height is in Meters (approximately 36.9 inches/meter).</p>
<p>What you do is multiply your height by your height and then divide that result into your weight. For example, if your height is 1.6m and your weight is 70kg then that means 1.6 x 1.6</p>

<p>The motivation behind writing this article is that I realized there are very many guys out there who are struggling with losing weight because they are obese. So guys, if you are tired to being overweight then you need to follow the tips below which will enable you to lose weight. The first thing you need to do if you want to lose weight is to find out more about how your body operates.</p>
<p>The male body does not operate the same as the female body. The first difference comes in there metabolic rate, men have a higher metabolic rate than women. The second difference comes in the level of testosterone that each has, men have a lot of testosterone compared to women. The men are less likely to store fat since they have a lot of testosterone.</p>
<p>If you are a man you need to prevent the accumulation of fat in your body since it is going to affect your quality of life as well as increase your chances of contracting diseases such as; diabetes, prostrate cancer and heart attack. Below are a few tips for men who want to lose weight:</p>
<p>1. Its all about changing your life style</p>
<p>When it comes to losing weight, it&#8217;s all about changing your lifestyle and not about going on a fad diet. You need to avoid using fad diets. This is because fad diets will make your body to go into starvation mode. When your body is in starvation mode it starts to burn muscles instead of fat so that it can preserve energy. <p>What kind of cardio are you doing? If you&#8217;re doing long, slow, low intensity cardio, then you&#8217;re going to burn calories WHILE you&#8217;re exercising.</p>
<p>Is this most effective fat burning cardio you can do? Want to know what type of cardio all my Eastbourne Personal Training clients are doing? For the time and energy you invest, is there a more effective way? Is it possible to burn calories even AFTER your exercise session is over? (As well as burning calories DURING exercise?)</p>
<p>Of course! If you&#8217;re ever heard of interval training then this is your solution. With interval training you can cut your workout time literally in half and you&#8217;ll burn more calories during your workout. As well, some studies have proven that you&#8217;ll continue to burn calories for up to 48-72 hours AFTER your workout with an elevated metabolic rate. This means that you could train on Monday morning and still be burning calories Tuesday night!</p>
<p>Sound too good to be true? What&#8217;s the catch?</p>
<p>The kicker is that for the short time invested in interval training, you really need to push yourself and get a sweat on. It&#8217;s not called &#8216;high intensity&#8217; for nothing. There&#8217;s a variety of ways you can incorporate interval training into your workout:</p>
<p>Running Swimming Rowing Stair running Jumping jacks</p>
<p>And there are a number of ways you can set your work to rest sets up. For example: -Do 20 seconds of HIGH INTENSITY work, and follow it with 10 seconds of rest. -Do 30 sec of work with a 20 sec rest. &#8211; Do 40 sec of work with a 20 sec rest. -Do 15 sec of work with a 15 sec rest. -Be creative, there&#8217;s no ONE way to do it. The key is to get the heart rate elevated and then let it slow down and repeat for up to 20 minutes.</p>
<p>Take a look at sprinters&#8230;</p>
<p>Sprinters have events that are between 10-40 seconds in length, so their training reflects preparation for these events. They do short bursts of intense activity followed by short rests. Then they repeat this over and over again.</p>
<p>In other words&#8230;interval training.</p>
<p>Do you see much body fat on a sprinter? They are some of the leanest athletes around with 4-6% of body fat.</p>
<p>Now, let&#8217;s look at marathon runners&#8230;</p>
<p>A marathon is a long event and these athletes train for hours at a much lower pace. Is this the &#8216;look&#8217; you&#8217;re after? Often marathon runners have some muscle, but it may not be what you had in mind&#8230;</p>
<p>In these pictures, what physique looks the most healthy?</p>
<p>Go figure, what physique is using interval training? What kind of cardio is the most time efficient method of burning fat? How will you use your cardio time?</p>
